The app is not the only route
TextFree is an app. That means an install, a signup and a phone that has room for it. The browser version skips all three.
If you are on a work laptop, a borrowed device or a phone with no space left, a web page is the faster path to the same result: a text that arrives.

TextFree online questions
Is this the official TextFree app?+
It is an independent browser tool with the same job. No account is shared with any app.
Do I need to keep the tab open?+
No. Once it says sent, the message is on its way.
Can I send pictures?+
Not on the free tier. Text only, 160 characters.
Is there a daily cap?+
Standard sends go through as you make them. Space them out if a batch fails.
